Goede en mooie 130i’s worden erg schaars. Dit exemplaar heeft een volledig inzichtelijke historie. Zo goed als alle werkzaamheden zijn door BMW uitgevoerd. De legendarische atmosferische 6 in lijn motor en de achterwielaandrijving maken dit tot een zeer geliefde auto voor kenners. Dit exemplaar heeft slechts 42.000 aantoonbare kilometers op de klok en verkeerd in een uitmuntende staat. Een vermogen van 265 pk in een kleine auto van ongeveer 1360 kg en een 6-handbak met korte slagen is natuurlijk al bijzonder. Voeg daarbij de excellente gewichtsverdeling en de achterwiel aandrijving en u heeft alle ingrediënten waarom deze auto’s zo onwaarschijnlijk goed en vooral leuk rijden! Opvallend goed is ook de gaspedaal respons, een dermate directe respons is met een geblazen motor onmogelijk. Ook het motorgeluid van de 6 in lijn motor blijft werkelijk ongeëvenaard, zijn timbre zal u nooit gaan vervelen. Zo worden ze niet meer gemaakt!

Dit exemplaar is gelukkig niet genadeloos afgetrapt. Motor, bak, onderstel, carrosserie – alles voelt zo goed als nieuw. Voeg daarbij de lekkere uitvoering en u begrijpt waarom wij zelf zo enthousiast zijn over deze auto. Dit exemplaar rijdt nog eens extra fijn omdat er geen runflat banden meer onder zitten die het rijgedrag niet ten goede komen.

They really become rare, a 130i in good shape with the legendary straight 6 of 3 litre and 265 Hp in the front and rear wheel drive. This car has only 42.000 Km on the clock, which can be stated by the history. This car really is in excellent shape. Almost all maintenance was carried out by BMW. Black metallic with the beautifull M Sport package with different front and rear ends make this car a real eye catcher. The look is completed with really very nice and special 18 inch M Motorsport alloy wheels.

The inside is also good looking and convenient with black leather upholstery on the sport seats an M Sport steering wheel and a glass sliding/tilting roof. The leather is really in excellent shape as well. This is clearly a car which was always cared about.

Looks are nice but for a BMW the driving counts even more. Of course it is always special to drive a compact car of only 1360 kg with a six cylinder of 265 Hp and a close ratio 6 speed manual gearbox. Add the excellent weight distribution between front and back and the rear wheel drive and you have all the ingredients why these cars are so exceptionally good and fun in their handling. Exceptionally good is the throttle response which is impossible for a newer turbo engine. The sound of this engine is unequalled during acceleration or at any speed!

This example is driving really like new, engine, gearbox, suspensions, bodywork – everything feels as good as new. As the normally mounted quite stiff run flat tyres are replaced by normal tyres the car behaves more smoothly than normal. If you also take the nice specification into account then you understand why we are so enthousiastic about this car.
